light saber without lights June 23, 2010 Lisa Rassi (China) I had NO idea I was buying light sabers that did not light up. I am very disappointed. This was not stated anywhere.
Packaging destroyed opening so of course unable to return..... sad. Be aware........

Simple, but fun April 10, 2010 T. Burnett (Olympia,WA) My daughter and son have a great time playing with these light-sabers. They are very simple, but sturdy. They do not light up, but I haven't heard the kids complain once. Overall, a hit in our family.
Fun for all ages - settles arguments December 31, 2009 Eco-Humanist (Dutch Harbor, AK United States) These are great - when my wife and I are having a spat I get these out of our sons toy box and we go at it - Settles hard feelings and gets the anger out :-) 1st graders through 4th graders like them too!!
For my sons December 28, 2009 Mommy of 3 (California USA) I bought 2 of these for my 3 and 4 yr. old sons. They love them and have gone to town smacking things with these sabers. None of them have broken yet!!! lol
Consider a far more durable, fun and safe alternative October 18, 2009 T. K. Schonhoff (Seattle, WA USA) After reading the many disappointing reviews of fragile toy light sabers, I found a WONDERFUL alternative (follow the link below to the Max Skillz Bo Staff Trainer). It's designed for safe and spirited fighting, is very durable and detaches to make two separate "swords". Of course it doesn't glow, hum or look exactly like the movie prop - but the two pair we've bought hold up under very enthusiastic use and my son has no problem imagining himself to be swinging a double light-saber. Buy two kits and you have one double-purple and one double-orange.
