Customer Reviews: Fett Legacy Review September 1, 2009 Jonathan Neeman 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
As someone who loves Star Wars, the Fett family (and Mandalorians in general) I must say I love this set! I'm a collector and my action figures will remain in the box, but I have seen some other reviews of this exact toy on YouTube so you may want to check that out.
For those of you who don't know Star Wars that well and need some information of the history of these characters read on; if you do know all about them skip this paragraph and go to the one with 3 stars. All 3 of these characters, Mandalore, Jango Fett, and Boba Fett, belong to a group of people called Mandalorians, a war mongering people who love battle. The leader of the Mandalorians is given the title of Mandalore. "Mandalore" is the guy in the brown armor with the battle ax. He was leader of the Mandalorians 4000 years before the time of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Han Solo. He doesn't have a given name and is simply know as "Mandalore." The guy in the silver armor is Jango Fett, and was at one time the greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy, and was also Mandalore for a time. Because he was "the best", a clone army, the Republic's Clone Troopers, were created in his image and those clones were trained to be the best fighting force the galaxy had ever seen. Jango had one request, besides loads of cash, for being the "father" of the grand army. Jango wanted an unaltered clone that he named Boba Fett. Jango's "son", Boba, would witness his "father's" death and go on to be even better than Jango. All 3 of them are/were Mandalore.
***As for the figures, Mandalore is a well crafted figure and was sculpted well, and he has good articulation. Mandalore's shield is removable, but his helmet is not. Jango Fett is well detailed. He sports a removable helmet and removable jetpack. Jango's face looks much like Temuera Morrison (the actor who played him in the film). Jango also has fantastic articulation. Now for my favorite figure; I have a few Boba Fett action figures and I must say this is my favorite. The details and coloration of this figure are superb! The jetpack and helmet are removable and Boba's head differs from Jango's head (most of the clone trooper heads are the same as Jango's). This Boba Fett's face is slightly scarred and his flight suit goes over most of his head, except for his face. The one problem with this Boba is his arm. His right elbow has a cord or wire going from his triceps to his forearm, which hinders the movement of the right arm (I'm guessing they did this to make him look movie-accurate).
All in all I give this set 5 out of 5! I did dock 1 star from education because the box gives little info on the characters' history.

Fett Legacy is a Legacy of Its Own February 14, 2009 Big O (New Mexico) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Of all the Evolutions/Legacy three-packs, this one is definitely the best. Not only because it includes Boba Fett and the exclusive Mandalore, but also because of the quality of the figures. Everyone's armor has been given special attention to details, including all sorts of nicks and scratches on Boba Fett's armor. Boba Fett also includes a cloth "cape" hanging over his shoulder, instead of a plastic one. However, this does cause problems when trying to keep Boba Fett's jetpack on (it falls off a lot; just keep the clear rubber band that comes around his waist). Jango has two holsters for his pistols, and Boba has one holster for his secondary pistol (which is one of the "extra accessories"). Typing of extra accessories, an additional weapon (spear) comes for Mandalore, and a headset comes for Jango.
The only two problems are: the first I already mentioned about Boba's jetpack not staying on; and secondly, Jango's head likes to pop off while trying to remove his helmet (you need to have a special maneuver to get the helmet off without taking off his head).
Those few things aside, this is definitely the best of the Evolutions/Legacy three-packs.
Note: I don't know who added the "30 years legends coin" to the tags, but there's no coin with this product. I already wrote what additional items come with this.
Big hit on Christmas February 1, 2009 Elizabeth Siebenthal This legacy pack was a huge hit with my six year old on Christmas. The action guys come with weapons and look close to the movie characters. Glad I bought this and the price was good, too!
